Welcome

Hello and welcome to TwoFourSixOrTen, the website with stories, photo’s, opinions and just about anything on two, four, six or ten wheels – roadsters, racers, customs, classics and commercials – road trips and racing – work shop and work horse.

There’s going to be something for everyone, weather an active enthusiast, armchair fan, restorer or weather you just have a passing interest in motoring. I’ll be creating a Gallery page for some of my motor sport photography and I’ll be writing articles about some of the cars I’ve owned in the past.

Also, I’ll be writing about some of the iconic cars from around the world, from vintage Bugatti’s to more modern machinery. I won’t just be looking at cars either, there will be articles on some of the worlds great two-wheeled designs, plus some of the iconic commercial vehicles like the Ford Transit.

You’ll also be able to join in by posting comments on each article, add your thoughts or stories and share similar experiences with the world. Have you owned a car, bike or van I’ve written about? Tell us about it. Are there any vehicles you’d like to see an article about? Send me a message and I’ll see what I can do. There’s no prejudice towards any vehicle here and I won’t apologize for talking about my previous cars and the motoring related topics I enjoy or any self-indulgent ramblings or romancing.

I have a passion for motor sport history and vintage cars and I will include a lot of articles relating to those, from some of the cars that dominated pre-war British motor sport, to the venues that hosted them, most prominently, Shelsley Walsh hill climb in Worcestershire, England and Brooklands circuit near Weybridge in Surrey and the great E.R.A marque.

I don’t shy away from admitting that I go a bit jelly-legged at the sight and sound of an E.R.A, or a vintage Bugatti for that matter and that Shelsley Walsh hill climb will always have a special place in my heart, indeed I grew up but ten miles from the Shelsley paddock.
